Underfloor safes are ideal for use where floor space is at a premium. Once installed and the cover plate in place, they can be easily concealed beneath a carpet, desk or chair. As with conventional safes, many underfloor safes are tested and rated in accordance with EN1143-1 from Grades 0 to III. They are supplied with round doors, lift-out doors and hinged doors with gas strut or spring assisted opening. In order to obtain the full indemnity rating, some insurers will insist that underfloor safes are only fitted by the manufacturers approved and certified installers
