A suitable reconditioned safe can often save up to a third on the cost of a new safe of an equivalent grade. However, great care should be taken (a) to ensure that the safe is fully reconditioned and fitted with new locks and (b) your insurers recognise and approve the make and grade of safe and will extend the required level of indemnity. To ensure maximum security, Guardian’s used safes are fully reconditioned in accordance with British Standard BS 7582: 1992 Code of Practice for Reconditioning of Used Safes and are guaranteed for 1 year. All reconditioned safes are offered subject to availability and sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
